托福舉例子時需要注意哪些問題?

大家先來看一道托福真題：

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement：

Afterhigh school, students should have at least one year to work or travel. It'sbetter than attending university straight away.

解析：

這道題目是關于gapyear的話題，若證明支持gapyear，那么應該如何展開例子?(今天只討論例子部分，因此以下片段僅為段落中的例子)

Step1：寫一個過渡句表明要開始舉例子

Kitty, a Chinese girl, is a goodexample.

Step2：總的概括一下這個例子的大意

During her gap year in Sydney, shehelps the locals to translate files and interpret.

Step3：開始具體說明發生了什么

She is so passionate about what she is doing now and she decided to a good translator or interpreter after coming back to university.

Step4：總結下例子然后點題，向我們要證明的方向靠攏

The internships and professional experience gained over the gap year will have much more influence on her future career development than a college degree.
