獨立寫作
Growing children need to have interesting new experiences to stimulate their imagination and mental development. Since children often find classroom teaching boring, schools should help children have exciting new experiences in other ways, for example:
- Offer children field trips to cultural events (art shows, museum exhibitions)or natural locations(parks, nature reserves)
- Help children read interesting books outside the classroom by giving them a certain amount of money to buy books they like
Which of these two ways do you think is better to provide children with exciting new experiences that stimulate their minds? Why?

綜合寫作
主題：一種chinook salmon 的數量一直在減少。
閱讀：三個理論說明原因：
1. 由于競爭：pink salmon和chinook salmon吃一樣的prey 然后因為pink的數量多，所以outcompete chinook ones ，因此導致其數量下降
2. 海洋溫度上升：由于the blob的現象（溫度上升），chinool salmon 對warm溫度很敏感，他們會消耗更多能量游泳，而且會damage health ，所以數量減少
3. 由于捕食者：提到了一個實驗室，實驗者在chinook salmon 身上attach tags ，通過衛星可以鎖定后發現大部分的魚都被鯊魚或者其他捕食者吃了。

聽力一一反駁：not convincing.
1. pink salmon不存在競爭關系：1）因為這個pink三文魚吃東西的地方是大概是離陸地很遠的地方（faraway from the land），而chinook salmon是在靠近land的地方找食物。2）同時，這個chinook salmon是在deepwater尋找食物，而pink salmon是在淺的靠近surface的地方尋找食物，所以他們兩個不形成競爭關系。
2. 第二個：在這個溫度上升之前，chinook salmon的數量就一直減少。當去年溫度又回到比較cool的狀態的時候，chinook salmon的數量的還是在減少，說明與溫度無關，可能是其他的原因造成的。
第三個：實驗并不能解釋所有的population。雖然確實chinook salmon是被鯊魚那些吃了，但是tags貼在魚身上會使他們游泳困難，導致他們更vulnerable to predators，因此就更容易被吃。?
